La Imperiosa

La Imperiosa cigars come to us from the Tennessee-based Crowned Heads brand. Handmade in Estelí, Nicaragua, La Imperiosa employs the same blend of tobaccos as the original Las Calaveras cigars, a limited-edition blend from Crowned Heads in 2014. Now in regular production, La Imperiosa is drafted from a dark and succulent Ecuador Habano wrapper and a medium to full-bodied blend of Nicaraguan long-fillers. Tasting notes of hickory, cedar, and raisin mingle throughout an earthy profile of charcoal and spice. La Imperiosa delivers a satisfying finish in a collection of consistent and popular sizes produced by legendary cigar-maker José ‘Pepin’ Garcia.
